Job Summary

A rural hospital dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to underserved communities is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Medicine Provider to join its team. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to patients of all ages, including infants, children, adults, and elderly patients
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Conduct routine physical exams, wellness visits, preventive screenings, and immunizations
  • Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and heart disease
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using EPIC EHR
  • Educate patients and families on preventive care and health management
  • Participate in community outreach and wellness initiatives
  • Follow established clinical protocols, policies, and ethical standards
  • Qualifications
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license (or ability to obtain) in Minnesota
  • Minimum 1 2 years of Family Medicine experience preferred
  • CPR and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in rural or underserved communities
  • Experience managing broad-spectrum primary care cases
  • EPIC EHR experience preferred
  • Telemedicine experience is a plus
  • Flexibility to adapt in a resource-limited environment
