Hospitalist Physician

Seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Hospitalist to join its well-established and collaborative pediatric care team in Reno, Nevada, offering a unique opportunity to practice high-quality inpatient pediatric medicine in a Level II Trauma Center with strong subspecialty support, academic affiliation, and access to world-class outdoor living.

Job Description

• Provide pediatric inpatient ward coverage in a 30-bed unit with an average daily census of patients
• Perform newborn nursery examinations
• Conduct Emergency Department pediatric consultations
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary pediatric care team, including subspecialists and intensivists
• Work closely with a 16-bed PICU staffed by dedicated pediatric intensivists
• Participate in teaching and education of pediatric residents and medical students
• Engage in an academic environment through affiliation with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine
• Deliver care in a Level II Trauma Center serving northern Nevada and northeastern California
• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered pediatric care aligned with the medical groups standards
