Physician - Oncology

Job Details:

Provide medical oncology coverage in a free-standing cancer center setting

Treat adult and geriatric patient populations

Practice consists of 65% benign hematology and 35% malignant oncology cases

See approximately 25 outpatients per day and 20 hospital patients for rounding

Work alongside 7 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers

No call schedule during locum assignment period

Utilize EPIC documentation system

Required to work 4 weeks per month with 4 days availability each week

Minimum 6-month initial contract commitment required

Participate in tumor board meetings

Manage bone marrow transplant patients

Handle blood bank responsibilities

Order diagnostic tests and imaging studies

Prescribe medications and treatment plans

Board certification in Hematology/Oncology required

Active South Carolina medical license required

Current BLS and DEA certification required
