Events Administrative Assistant
The Events Administrative Assistant furthers the Mission of Roundup River Ranch by providing extensive administrative support to the Development Team for the development function, general fundraising activities, and signature events (The Bullseye Roundup & A Grateful Harvest). This is a seasonal/temporary (June, July & August) part-time position to support with the high demand event and fundraising season.
Essential Job Functions:
Supports general administrative needs associated with development, events, and fundraising activities
Assist with event and development tracking spreadsheets
Assist development team with meeting preparation and follow-up, as needed
Assist with donor acknowledgement letter mailing
Assist Development Team with daily operations and errands
Help support fulfillment of donor silent auction packages including picking up of items prior to the events and delivering items after the event
Supports preparation of event materials and donor gifts
Support preparation and execution of The Bullseye Roundup and A Grateful Harvest events
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Job Competencies:
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Quickly masters and adapts to new software and systems
Intermediate to advanced level MS Office Suite skills essential
Ability to work independently, prioritize, adhere to deadlines, and follow through on completion of tasks.
Proven organization and administrative abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
Maintains strict confidentiality in all matters at all times
Demonstrates the Guideposts in all aspects of work
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 1 year work experience in administrative role
Computer proficiency and practical experience in word processing, database and internet navigation
Physical Requirements:
Office Based / Indoors - 75%+
Desk / Computer work - 75%+
Sitting - 75%+
Outdoors - less than 25%
Standing - less than 25%
Walking / Moving - less than 25%
Lifting / carrying - Up to 20lbs
Driving - Occasional
