Licensure

• Florida State License - Required

Certifications (Required)

• Board Certified - Neonatology
• Minimum 1 year post-fellowship experience
• Must be clinically active within the last year
• Minimum 6 months recent specialty experience

• Setting: Level III NICU
• Facility: 70-bed NICU within a children's hospital
• Coverage:
  • In-house NICU coverage
  • Level I nursery (well baby care + backup from home)
• EMR: Not specified

• 70-bed Level III NICU
• 135-bed standalone children's hospital
• 7,000 annual deliveries across system
• Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Unit designation

Team Structure

• 10 Neonatologists
• 10 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs)
• 24-hour NNP coverage

Clinical Responsibilities

• Attend high-risk deliveries
• Provide NICU attending coverage
• Manage newborn care in Level I setting as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary subspecialty teams
