• Case Mix: General inpatient medicine (Neuro, Ortho, General Surgery, Cardiology, Oncology, GI)

• No. of Beds in Department: 339 (36 ICU beds)

• EMR System: Epic with MModal

• Office Equipment Available: Standard hospital equipment

• Specialty Backup Available: Neuro, Ortho, GS, Cardiology, Oncology, GI

• Support Staff Available: Day - 10 Physicians, 3 PA/NP Night - 2 Physicians, 1 PA/NP

• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• Respond to Codes and Rapid Response Teams (RRTs)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active MS License required

• Board: Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

• DEA: Active MS DEA with Schedules II-V required

• Certifications: ACLS required

• Experience: Minimum 2 years recent hospitalist experience

• Other Qualifications: Case logs and CME documentation required for past 2 years; flu and COVID vaccination required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide inpatient hospitalist care including rounding and cross-coverage

• Respond to codes and rapid response events

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic

• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care
