Description : Hospital is looking for a Locum to Perm Neuro Critical Care Physician.

Practice Setting: Neuro ICU

Reason for Coverage: FMLA

Dates of Coverage: 4/6/26-7/10/26

Average Number of ICU Patients Per Day: 12-15 (NICU)

Average Number of Admissions per Physician per Day: 3-4

Total Number of Beds: 555 (avg. census 300)

Number of ICU Beds: 42 (never at max)

Number of Critical Care Physicians in Group: Critical Care: 4: Neurocritical Care: 2

Will Other Critical Care Physicians be Present During our Locum's Coverage? Yes

Will the Locum Physician be Required to Supervise Other Health Care Providers?: No

Will the Locum be Involved in Covering/Supervising Teaching Services (Residents/Fellows)?: No

Documentation System/EMR: EPIC

Practice Setting: Neuro Critical Care

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: ASAP, dependent on candidate history

Provider Must be local -

Ventilation Management Procedures Required: Invasive (ETT/NT/Tracheostomy), Non-Invasive (BiPAP/CPAP)

Required Insertions: Central Line, Arterial Line

Procedures Required: Bronchoscopy, ICP evaluation and management

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified in both Neurology and Critical Care - REQUIRED
• Active FL State License - REQUIRED
• BLS, ACLS - REQUIRED
• Local provider, only mileage to be reimbursed - REQUIRED
• A Self-Query NPDB report is required at the time of presentation (Should be pulled within 30 days) - REQUIRED
