• Weekly Estimated Pay: $8,540 - $9,150

• Shift Options: 6am-2pm, 8am-4pm, 1pm-11pm (8-hour shifts)
• Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours per shift
• Start Date: July 20, 2026
• End Date: July 21, 2026 (with ongoing needs possible)
• Trauma Level: Level 3
• Average ED Volume: 110 patients per 24 hours

Qualifications & Licensure (Job Requirements)

• Active California medical license required (physician license)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or ABEOM only; ABIM/ABFM not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in Emergency Medicine / emergency department (ER) settings
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Ability to work night shifts strongly preferred
• Updated CV with all hospital affiliations; gaps greater than 3 months must be explained

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in the Emergency Department (ED)
• Manage a diverse patient population with a wide range of acute medical and trauma-related conditions
• Perform triage, resuscitation, procedural care, and critical decision-making in a fast-paced ER environment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including anesthesia, surgery, radiology, and laboratory services (available 24/7)
• Participate in hospital privileging and credentialing processes as required for locum tenens coverage
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
