Position Overview

Perform all quality control testing and ensure testing is completed correctly.

Develop knowledge of material and finished pipe testing requirements based on the appropriate AASHTO or ASTM standards for the style of pipe produced.

Audits quality and compliance daily against established processes and SOPs across all production areas, including Processing / Production, Fabrication, Yard storage, and Internal Quality programs.

Review current product inventory from the previous day to verify compliance or identify non‑conformances in real time.

Interface with production personnel and management to communicate observations, audit findings, testing results, and AASHTO/ASTM standard requirements.

Escalate findings, results, or observations to the Quality Assurance Supervisor and Manager as needed.

Monitor and collect incoming resin via sampling procedures to ensure compliance. Resphen sampling requires outdoor work in all seasons/weather.

Perform data entry to electronically store test results.

Enter electronic measurements to initiate testing for equipment interfaces.

File and maintain test reports and resin samples in an organized manner.

Understand the basic concept of the Lane blending program.

Follow the Quality Manual (QSM).

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Quality Assurance Department; manufacturing experience preferred.

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education; preference for higher education.

Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in measurements and testing; strong organizational skills; mathematical aptitude.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat; ability to perform data entry for electronic quality programs and testing equipment interfaces.
