Schedule: THIS IS A NIGHTS POSITION - Three 12 hour shifts per week; 11:00:00 AM - 11:00 PM - rotating weekends and occasional holidays are required
Compensation: $60-$80/hour (based on experience) + monthly productivity bonus - $15 an hour night differential from 4:00pm - 3:00am Benefits: Full-benefits package available Position Summary We are seeking a Full Time clinician to join our team in Tucson, AZ at our Old Spanish Trail and S Harrison Rd. location . This role is ideal for clinicians who value variety, autonomy, and meaningful community impact while practicing in a fast paced, well supported urgent care environment. Clinicians at NextCare enjoy true work life balance, including no after hours tasks, flexible scheduling, and monthly schedules released in advance. Our full time schedules are designed, so clinicians are off more days than they work. You'll be supported by experienced clinical teams, strong peer relationships, clear practice guidelines, and accessible medical leadership who provide real time guidance and mentorship. - Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
- Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging
- Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable)
- Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
- Code and bill services appropriately
- Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
- Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values
- Active, unrestricted Arizona license
- National board certification required
- Active DEA license
- Ability to treat patients of all ages
- Active BLS certification
- EHR proficiency
- Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
- DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered and certification is good for 10 years!)
- Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast track experience
- Strong procedural skills (e.g., suturing, splinting, wound care)
- Experience with initial x ray interpretation prior to radiology over read
