About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Wound Care NP/PA to provide advanced, independent care for complex and chronic wounds in a mobile clinic setting serving rural communities. This role is ideal for providers who thrive in autonomous environments and are passionate about delivering high-quality care to underserved populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex chronic wounds (diabetic, vascular, pressure injuries)
- Perform advanced bedside procedures including debridement, biopsies, casting, and wound vac management
- Provide limb-preserving care and coordinate urgent referrals when needed
- Collaborate with remote physicians and specialists via telehealth
- Maintain accurate and detailed EMR documentation
Requirements:
- NP/PA license (MN or willing to obtain prior to start)
- WOC Certification (required before start; strong wound care experience required if not yet certified)
- Experience managing high-risk wound patients independently
- BLS & DEA required (ACLS preferred)
Schedule & Contract Details:
- Start: ASAP (approximately 3-month onboarding/credentialing process)
- End: December 2026, with strong potential to extend into 2027
- Contract Length: Minimum 6-month commitment required
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday Friday (5 days/week)
- Weekly Split:
- 2 3 days per week in a mobile clinic setting
- 2 3 days per week in a traditional clinic/office setting
- Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM daily
- On mobile clinic days, patient-facing hours are typically 9:30 AM 3:30 PM, allowing time for travel, setup, and documentation
