Neurology Physician Assistant

A reputable health services organization in Newark, New Jersey is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA), specializing in Neurosurgery. This role involves supporting both inpatient and outpatient settings in a flexible work environment.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm
• Setting: Inpatient / Outpatient

Responsibilities:

• Conducting inpatient neurosurgery consults
• Providing outpatient clinic coverage
• Performing minor bedside procedures, including suturing and drain removal
• Collaborating closely with the NJMS neurosurgical group
• Utilizing EPIC EMR for all clinical documentation
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree
• Active NJS Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
• Board Eligible
• Experience in Neurosurgery or related Surgical specialty
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Strong communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
