Orthopedic Physician Assistant (PA-C)Location: Walla Walla, WA - Spokane 150m, Seattle 260mEmployment Type: Full-Time, permanent positionSalary: $135,000 - $150,000 + productivity bonus Position SummarySeeking an Orthopedic Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join a collaborative practice working directly with an experienced orthopedic surgeon. This is a primarily outpatient role with the opportunity to assist in surgical procedures as needed. Position Highlights Office-based position with no call, weekends, or after-hours responsibilities Competitive base salary with productivity bonus potential Malpractice coverage provided Collaborative, physician-led practice environment Mix of clinic-based care with occasional OR exposure Clinical Responsibilities Perform patient evaluations, histories, and physical exams Diagnose and treat orthopedic conditions under physician supervision Perform procedures including: Joint and bursa aspirations Injections (joints, tendons, trigger points) Suturing, casting, splinting, and bracing Order and interpret labs, imaging (X-rays, EKGs), and diagnostic studies Assist in the operating room as needed Provide pre- and post-operative patient education and care Prescribe medications, orthotics, and orthopedic devices per protocol Remove sutures/staples and monitor patient recovery Maintain accurate and timely documentation Qualifications Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or eligible Current BLS certification Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting Preferred Experience Orthopedic experience (casts, splints, bracing, procedures) Operating room experience Flexibility to adapt to varying patient volumes Practice Environment Team-oriented orthopedic practice with strong physician support Balanced workflow between clinic and procedural care Opportunity to expand surgical skills while maintaining work-life balance Estimated pay range/amount is $117,000 to $150,600.
