Consistent availability at HCN Administrative Office (731 E. Main Street, Jackson, OH 45621).
Rotating on‑call shifts performed remotely.

$15.50 - $18.00 / hour + Benefits + OT Pay

In this role, you will act as the “Mission Control” of the agency. You will optimize workflows, ensure clinicians are supported, and guarantee that patients receive the consistent, compassionate care they deserve. As a senior team member, you will bridge clinical necessity and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Navigate call‑offs and emergency coverage with calm and professionalism.
Analyze schedules to reduce downtime and create efficient, rewarding routes for caregivers.
Serve as the high‑level point of contact for families and physicians, ensuring every care plan is executed with 100% compliance.
Manage patient onboarding, payer authorizations, and payroll verification with impeccable accuracy.
Collaborate with Intake, Quality Assurance, Recruiting, and Management to identify growth opportunities and process improvements.
Support clerical, scheduling, HR, and communication activities essential to the agency’s overall operations.
Mentor newer team members and contribute to process refinement and implementation of innovative solutions.
Report directly to the Call Center & Scheduling Manager under the Director of Operations.
Provide leadership support, including opportunities for advancement and people/team management.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
Minimum 3 years in scheduling, workforce coordination, or high‑volume logistics (home health experience is a major plus; experience from logistics, hospitality management, or medical front‑office is acceptable).
Familiarity with HIPAA and medical terminology.
Experience as a Lead, Assistant Manager, or Senior Coordinator, or 4+ years as a Scheduler with demonstrable results.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and EMR/EHR or scheduling software; comfortable generating reports and using data to solve scheduling gaps.
Reliable attendance history—critical when the office team is missing.
Strong communication skills for speaking professionally with physicians and empathetically with Medicaid‑eligible families.
Emotional intelligence to stay calm under pressure and provide kind communication to patients.
Driven to help and solve, working efficiently with a sense of urgency and duty.
Proficient in documentation, problem‑solving, coordination, and generating/interpreting data.
Successful background check and pre‑employment drug test required.
Modern business aptitude: manage work to meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines; succeed in a fast‑paced environment; manage multiple functions simultaneously; track record of successful projects.
Experience or passion for effective marketing and communications (Email Marketing, SMS tools, community outreach).
Preferred Assets:
Experience with ContinuLink or Axxess EMR/EHR or other complex EMR/EHR/ERP systems.
Experience with CRM systems and methodology.
Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
Forward‑thinking mindset; experience using AI tools like ChatGPT for workflow efficiency.
