We have an immediate need for a locum Diagnostic Radiology Physicians to provide diagnostic and therapeutic medical services for our veteran population at the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VAMC Philadelphia VA Medical Center. We have an immediate need for a locum Diagnostic Radiology Physicians to provide diagnostic and therapeutic medical services for our veteran population at the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VAMC Philadelphia VA Medical Center. This role offers a flexible assignment with an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while experiencing Philadelphia s rich natural landscapes and family-friendly attractions.
Scope of work includes but not limited to:
- Radiologist must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience.
- Radiologist must possess the necessary qualifications to perform Fluoroscopic exams competently and in accordance with CMCVAMC standards.
- Interpret diagnostic imaging studies (General Radiology, Ultrasound, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine (NM), PET CT, Computed Tomography (CT) Scan, Mammography) in alignment with current departmental workflows.
- Radiologist must provide oversight and teaching to the house staff of our academic affiliates.
- All imaging examinations for inpatients, emergency department patients, and other cases designated as urgent shall be classified as STAT. The Radiologist shall interpret and finalize reports for such STAT studies within one (1) hour of receipt of the examination, in accordance with institutional standards for emergent care.
Hours & Schedule:
- Monday through Friday 8:00am 4:30pm (excluding federal holidays).
Items Required for Submission:
- Current CV without any gaps over 30 days since completion of medical school- written explanations are accepted
- One active, unrestricted Medical License in any state
- Current DEA
- BLS- American Heart Association (AHA) required
- 3 Current References
