Material Handler (B Shift)
We are seeking dedicated material handlers to join our dynamic team. This role involves the movement of all materials to and from the production department, ensuring the safe and effective operation of equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks.
Responsibilities
Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks.
Conduct daily pre-shift forklift checks, including battery changes.
Inspect products to ensure they are properly packaged for shipment.
Consistently lift boxes weighing up to 35 lbs.
Accurately complete labels and paperwork.
Verify correct weights and counts of materials.
Construct cardboard boxes from collapsed cartons.
Relieve packers for all scheduled breaks.
Essential Skills
Material handling experience.
Forklift operation proficiency.
Experience in production and picking.
Ability to operate sit-down and clamp forklifts, as well as pallet jacks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior manufacturing experience.
Minimum of 6 months forklift experience.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Work Environment

Specific information on temperature and cleanliness will be provided after a facility tour. Note that no-call, no-show incidents result in automatic termination, with 2 call-ins allowed per month.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
