Locum - Physician - Emergency Medicine Cambridge, OH

Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Locum Physician in Emergency Medicine, providing high-quality care at a busy facility in Cambridge, OH. This opportunity offers an engaging environment with a significant patient volume of approximately 55-60 patients daily, and a commitment of at least 5 shifts per month for 12+ months. Required Skills:

• MD or DO degree with medical licensure in Ohio
• Board-certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Valid medical license and DEA certification
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine experience
• Strong clinical skills and ability to manage acute cases independently
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a) reliably

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in a similar community emergency department setting
• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Knowledge of EMR systems, specifically Meditech
• Bilingual abilities

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• At least 5 years of ER practice or equivalent experience in emergency medicine

Other Requirements:

• Credentialing process estimated at 60+ days; start as soon as credentialed
• Must book all travel through OVP; no agency rate posting
• Commitment to ongoing availability, with a minimum of 5 shifts per month
• Ability to work both day and night shifts as scheduled
• Must hold valid Ohio medical license and appropriate certifications
