Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Osage Beach, MO

Join our esteemed medical team as a Locum OB Hospitalist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional maternal and gynecological care in the beautiful Osage Beach area. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital setting, providing comprehensive obstetric services including triage, emergency gynecology, and deliveries. Collaborate with hospital-employed CNMs and APCs, while managing approximately 13+ patient encounters daily. Engage with Meditech Expanse EMR for seamless documentation and patient management. Required Skills:

• MD or DO degree with a valid medical license to practice in Missouri
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience in obstetric and gynecological emergency care
• Ability to manage labor and delivery independently
• Strong knowledge of hospital protocols and EMRs, specifically Meditech Expanse
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous locum or per diem experience in hospital settings
• Familiarity with gynecologic emergencies and triage protocols
• BLS, ACLS, and DEA certifications
• Experience working with CNMs and APCs
• Bilingual abilities are a plus

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology
• Prior experience in hospitalist roles preferred but not required

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on 12/31/2025
• Ability to work the clinic, call, and on-call shifts as scheduled
• Willingness to travel if necessary; reimbursements available for licensure, certification, travel, and other eligible expenses

Hourly Pay Rate: $195.00
