Human Resources Generalist

Job Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, conducting investigations, resolving concerns, and ensuring appropriate documentation and follow-up
Partner with HR leadership to promote a positive and compliant work environment across corporate teams
Maintain and manage employee records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
Provide guidance to managers on performance management, corrective actions, attendance, and policy interpretation
Support corporate team members in goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning
Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies, programs, and procedures
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (including ADA, EEOC, FMLA, etc.)
Collaborate with internal stakeholders on HR systems, reporting, and benefits-related matters
Serve as a resource to employees regarding benefits, HR systems, and employee self-service tools
Process employment verifications and respond to internal and external requests for information
Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports for corporate leadership to support decision-making
Support organizational development initiatives, including training programs and employee engagement efforts
Participate in special projects and corporate HR initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum of 35 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a corporate or multi-site environment
Demonstrated experience handling employee relations matters, including investigations and conflict resolution
Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices
Experience supporting performance management processes and coaching leaders
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and maintain a high level of confidentiality
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in policy development and implementation preferred
Education
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required
HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred
