
Night Crew Supervisor

Position Summary
The Night‑Crew Manager is responsible for leading overnight store operations to ensure shelves are stocked, displays are set, and the store is prepared for the next business day. This role oversees night‑crew associates, drives productivity, maintains safety and merchandising standards, and ensures accurate execution of stocking plans while meeting labor and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Overnight Operations & Execution
Lead and oversee all overnight stocking and recovery operations
Ensure accurate stocking of merchandise, proper rotation, and planogram compliance
Maintain store conditions including cleanliness, aisle organization, and backroom standards
Ensure the store is fully prepared and guest‑ready for morning opening
Team Leadership & Supervision
Supervise, train, coach, and develop night‑crew associates
Assign daily work tasks, set priorities, and monitor productivity throughout the shift
Provide real‑time feedback, recognition, and corrective coaching
Foster a safe, accountable, and respectful work environment
Inventory, Freight & Productivity
Oversee unloading, breakdown, and staging of freight deliveries
Partner with leadership to manage labor hours and workload efficiency
Monitor inventory accuracy, shrink control, and proper handling of product
Communicate completion status, challenges, and follow‑ups to store leadership
Safety, Standards & Compliance
Enforce safety procedures, equipment usage, and overnight security practices
Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards
Maintain required logs, reports, and nightly documentation
Support audits, inventories, and corporate initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Previous grocery, retail, or overnight stocking leadership experience preferred
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and make decisions during overnight operations
Flexible availability for overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
