
CONTROLS ENGINEER I

## DescriptionThis position is an entry-level position for implementing and maintaining automated industrial controls systems. The position requires an understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLC), human-machine interfaces (HMI), sensors, motors, pneumatics, and electrical design. The position requires companywide interaction across engineering, service, vendors, and customers. This individual must possess critical thinking skills, self-management skills, and be highly communicative.**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:*** Configure and implement existing control software for assigned projects* Support ongoing development of control software, sensors, motors, and electrical designs* Communicate with sales, service teams, and customers regarding projects, accessories, repairs, and technical support* Maintain and organize software archives* Document and archive new device and configuration changes* Assist with troubleshooting and resolving field or customer-reported issues as needed* Travel may exceed 25%* Other duties as assigned.## Qualifications**KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:*** Familiarity with Rockwell Automation platforms and applications* Experience or exposure to:
