Overview
We are seeking a
Process Quality Assurance
candidate to support quality assurance activities and ensure the quality and reliability of products or services. The role involves implementing and improving Quality Assurance processes, supporting audits, and collaborating with internal teams and the Japanese parent company to enhance quality standards. The Quality Assurance Specialist focuses on preventing defects and ensuring processes are followed to meet defined quality criteria.
Responsibilities
Quality Assurance Strategy & Process Development
Support in implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes across the development lifecycle.
Assist in tracking quality metrics and benchmarks to evaluate and improve product or service quality.
Follow quality assurance processes that align with industry standards and internal objectives.
Auditing & Compliance
Support internal audits, process reviews, and quality inspections.
Identify deviations from established processes and ensure timely corrective actions.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain comprehensive records of Quality Assurance activities, including audit results, non-conformities, and resolutions.
Support in generating reports on quality performance metrics, trends, and improvement progress.
Process Improvement & Innovation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, APM, Ops) to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
Suggest improvements to enhance quality, reduce defects, and improve operational efficiency.
Support or promote the adoption of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Training & Knowledge Sharing
Support in training sessions and assist in creating educational materials on Quality Assurance standards and procedures.
Support team members in understanding and applying quality principles in their work.
Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Action
Participate in investigating quality issues through structured root cause analysis techniques.
Collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Customer Satisfaction & Feedback Loop
Analyze customer feedback, complaints, and return data to identify trends and pain points.
Translate feedback into actionable quality improvements.
Regulatory & Industry Standards Compliance
Stay current with relevant quality regulations, standards (e.g., ISO, CMMI), and best practices.
Ensure ongoing compliance with all required certifications and regulatory frameworks.
Risk Assessment & Mitigation
Proactively identify potential quality-related risks across the product or service lifecycle.
Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
Quality Culture & Continuous Improvement
Champion a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement across the organization.
Encourage team-wide ownership of quality and open sharing of ideas for improvement.
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance roles
In-depth knowledge of software development processes, testing methodologies, and quality assurance principles.
Familiarity with industry quality standards and frameworks, such as ISO 9001, CMMI, or Agile methodologies.
Ability to analyze data and apply statistical methods.
Outstanding communication skills.
Experience with quality management tools and software testing tools is a plus.
Relevant certifications in quality assurance or quality management are advantageous.
