Contract Length: 3-6 Months

Schedule & Shift Details:

  • Monday-Friday, 10- or 12-hour shifts

  • Weekend coverage required: 2 weekend days per month (one Saturday, one Sunday)

  • Minimum shifts per month: 16 plus weekend call

  • Weekend call rotation: 2nd and 3rd call - 24 hours, 4th call - 14 hours, 5th and 6th call - 10 hours

  • Beeper call: 2nd and 3rd remain on beeper after leaving, 4th-6th technically on beeper but not called back after leaving

  • Trauma Level: Level 1

Position Overview:
This locums CRNA assignment provides care across multiple surgical specialties in a Level 1 trauma center. The provider will deliver anesthesia for a high-volume, diverse case mix including general surgery, robotics, orthopedic, trauma, burns, neuro, spine, plastics, GYN, OB, and healthy pediatrics. The role includes weekday and weekend coverage according to call rotation.

Daily Breakdown / Responsibilities:

  • Primary cases: General Surgery, Robotics, Orthopedic

  • OB deliveries: Average 200 per month

  • Operating Rooms: 15 ORs (4 endo, 2 cath, 2 OB)

  • Provide anesthesia care for assigned surgical cases

  • Coordinate with surgical teams, nursing staff, and perioperative personnel

Facility Details:

  • Practice Setting: Hospital / Multi-specialty OR coverage

  • EMR: Ipro

  • Trauma Level: 1

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years CRNA experience (no new grads)

  • Active Florida ARNP License

  • ACLS, BLS, PALS required

  • Clean malpractice and background history
