Administrative Services Coordinator
The Administrative Support Associate provides comprehensive administrative, business, HR, and operational support to the Director of the Center for Marine Sciences & Technology (CMAST). The position manages daily financial transactions, purchasing, payroll, HR processing, travel reimbursements, mail operations, scheduling, and facility access. It maintains center directories, personnel lists, key inventory, and operational records. The role serves as the primary point of contact for faculty, staff, students, partner institutions, and visitors, providing accurate information about center procedures and services. The position supports meetings, conferences, workshops, and other center activities, ensuring smooth coordination of logistics and resources. Work requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to apply established policies and procedures in a complex, multi-unit environment.

Qualifications:
Minimum Experience/Education - High School Diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with university administrative systems (e.g., Peoplesoft, PeopleAdmin). Experience tracking budgets, preparing spreadsheets, or processing financial transactions. Experience coordinating meetings, events, or facility scheduling. Experience providing customer service in a multi-unit or public-facing environment. Familiarity with HR processes, payroll, or onboarding procedures.
