Pilates Instructor

Hometown Pilates LLC is looking to hire a classically trained Pilates Instructor who is comprehensively certified in all apparatus: Trapeze Table, Wunda Chair, Barrels, Reformer etc. The ideal candidate is someone who is experienced in Private Lessons and Semi Private Instruction, with knowledge of modifications for special populations. Three or more years of experience and weeknight availability is preferred. Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead Sessions: Design and instruct high-quality Pilates classes on Tower, Chair, Barrels and Reformer to various skill levels.Client Connection: Provide personalized cues, adjustments, and modifications to ensure safety and optimal form for all body types. Build friendly rapport with clients to encourage their progress.Atmosphere Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting studio space before and after sessions.Growth & Education: Teachers are encouraged to attend continuing education every two years. Safety First: Follow protocol for new clients in order to identify injuries or physical limitations, and know how to make modifications for them. Requirements & SkillsCertification: Nationally recognized Pilates certification or similar. CPR Certified will be paid a higher wage.Experience: Previous experience teaching in a small studio setting is required.Communication: Has excellent communication skills and responds in a timely manner.Reliability: Punctuality and holds a commitment to the part-time schedule. Knowledge: Solid understanding of functional anatomy and the ability to modify exercises for injuries or pregnancy.Studio Involvement: The ideal candidate will make time for participating in continuing education, mentoring and personal practice at the studio.
