In this role, you will provide expert outpatient orthopedic therapy to a diverse patient population, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, pediatrics, and spinal conditions. You will work within a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, utilizing advanced EMR systems such as Wellsky, to deliver top-tier outpatient rehabilitation services. This position offers a consistent schedule, no weekend coverage, and a competitive hourly rate, ensuring both professional fulfillment and work-life balance.

Required Skills:

• Current Louisiana Physical Therapist (PT) license
• At least 1+ years of experience in outpatient ortho or related specialties
• Ability to independently manage caseloads with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in treating general ortho, sports medicine, pediatric, and neuro-specific diagnoses
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Experience with EMR systems including Wellsky and Meditech Expanse is preferred

Nice to Have Skills:

• Additional certifications such as BLS, ACLS, or NIHSS
• Experience with pediatric or neuro patients at higher functioning levels
• Familiarity with hospital orientation programs and inpatient rehab settings

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
• Prior experience working in multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to attend a comprehensive hospital and departmental orientation (2-3 days)
• No weekend coverage required; occasional inpatient or acute care shifts up to once per month for qualified candidates
• Must be comfortable utilizing EMR platforms including Wellsky, Meditech Expanse, and EPIC
• Available to start on May 18, 2026
• Hourly pay rate of $60.30
