As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the inventory of vehicles at one of our dealerships.

Position Summary
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing the accuracy, presentation, and marketing of all new and used vehicle inventory. This role ensures every vehicle is properly stocked, photographed, and displayed both online and on the lot, supporting compliance, efficiency, and sales performance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working across multiple departments to keep vehicle listings up-to-date and visually appealing.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately stock in all new and used vehicles into the dealership inventory systems in a timely manner.
Maintain clear communication with managers and teammates regarding inventory.
Organize and track all vehicle keys in the key management system. Utilizing the 1Micro system and ensuring keys are secured in the key machines.
Monitor incoming and outgoing inventory, verifying accuracy, and resolving discrepancies.
After detailing, confirm vehicles meet cleanliness and presentation standards before completing photos and listing online.
Ensure all vehicles on the retail lot display Buyer's Guides (compliance requirement).
Audit online listings regularly to ensure accuracy, completeness, and visual consistency.
Inspect vehicles to detect damage and verify serial numbers.
Check in all new and used cars dropped off.
Park/Move new and used vehicles in assigned areas.
Capture high-quality, well-lit, and well-composed images for all new and used vehicles.
Photograph 4050 images for used vehicles and 1520 images for new vehicles per company standards.
Ensure all images meet platform quality requirements for lighting, clarity, and composition.
Upload photos, update descriptions as needed and maintain listings across all locations.
Write clear, engaging, and accurate vehicle descriptions highlighting key features and packages.
Maintain professional appearance and attitude.
Embody company core values.
Other duties as assigned.

Must be 18 years or older
Ability to work outdoors in all seasons
General automotive knowledge/mechanical aptitude preferred
Basic computer proficiency, with the ability to operate handheld devices
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in team environment
Must have Valid NC Driver's License with acceptable driving record
Must have two forms of government-issued ID (Drivers license + Social Security)
Availability to work Monday to Friday with weekend availability
Passion for the automotive industry
