Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift

Compensation Includes:
Starting Pay Rate of $13.00/hour
Responsibilities
Operate all warehouse equipment required to transfer finished goods and other products to the appropriate areas, including forklift and clamp truck
Load and unload trucks efficiently in accordance with department standards
Stock all goods in a safe and stable manner
Communicate pertinent information to relief at shift change
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Maintain work area in an organized, safe, and clean manner; knowledge of 6S is a plus
Know locations of and how to operate emergency stop buttons and fire extinguishers
Complete forklift checklist
Monitor and record all products returned or received
Check accuracy of finished product count on pallets, verify product ID, ensure pallets have only one Port Ticket when removed from lines, and accurately complete all required paperwork
Fill forklift propane tank at end of shift
Perform accurate cycle counts as designated by Team Leaders
Effectively organize and stage materials to support inventory accuracy
Knowledge of LOTO procedures is a plus
Qualifications
Minimum of one year recent forklift experience preferred
Minimum of one year sit-down forklift experience required
Clamp attachment operation experience is a plus
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of mathematics
Ability to communicate orally and in writing (English required)
Must be self-directed and able to work with little supervision
Must be certified in Lockout/Tagout and Forklift Operation upon assignment
