Primary Care Providers an exciting locum opportunity is available in Cambridge, Massachusetts!

We are currently seeking Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics providers to join a PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) setting in Cambridge, MA. This opportunity is open to Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants who are passionate about caring for complex older adults and medically fragile patients.

The PACE model focuses on coordinated, patient-centered care, allowing providers to work closely with interdisciplinary teams to improve the health and quality of life of elderly participants.

Schedule

Assignment Dates: May 1, 2026 November 30, 2026
Schedule: Monday Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Call: No call required

️ Clinical Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care for PACE program participants
Manage chronic and acute medical conditions
Conduct clinic visits, home visits, and nursing home visits as assigned
Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings
Coordinate care with nursing, social workers, therapists, and support staff
Manage patient communications such as phone and in-basket coverage
Document patient encounters using Epic EMR

Patient Population

PACE programs serve elderly patients and individuals with complex medical conditions who require coordinated long-term care.

Typical Patient Panel: Approximately 70 patients
Patient volumes are smaller due to higher complexity of care

This allows providers to focus on quality care and comprehensive patient management.

Practice Environment

Work alongside physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants

Combination of clinic, home, and nursing facility care settings
Epic EMR system

Requirements

MD / DO Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics (for physicians)
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification (for APPs)
Board Certified (for physicians)
Active Massachusetts Medical License required
Flu vaccination required (no waivers accepted)
Recent direct supervisor reference required
