Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Orthopedic Total Joint Advanced Practice Provider Opportunity in Southaven, MSAn orthopedic practice is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support a Total Joint team. This role provides comprehensive patient care under the supervision of orthopedic surgeons, including clinic responsibilities and surgical assistance.Position Details• Full-time opportunity• Provide patient evaluations including history, physical exams, and patient/family education• Review and interpret laboratory, imaging, and therapy reports• Develop diagnoses and treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians• Maintain and review patient records and documentation• Implement physician-directed protocols and treatment plans• Perform injections, aspirations, and placement or removal of sutures and staples• Assist with reductions of fractures and dislocations and removal of superficial orthopedic hardware• Assist in the operating room with total joint surgical procedures• Provide first aid and emergency care when necessary• Work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient careRequirements• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant• Physician Assistant: Graduate of an accredited PA program with national certification• Nurse Practitioner: Master's degree in Nursing with national NP certification• Active or eligible for state licensure• Previous experience in minor medical or emergency care preferred• Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills• Ability to work effectively in a team-based orthopedic environment• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsCompensation & Benefits• Competitive compensation package• Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance• Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) option• Flexible Spending Account (FSA)• Basic and voluntary life insurance options• Long-term disability and voluntary short-term disability• Accident and critical illness insurance options• 401(k) with employer match and profit sharing• Employee Assistance Program• Paid Time Off• Personal and sick time• Paid holidays
