• Saturday - Sunday: 7a-4p 11a-9p 4p-12a 9p-7a

• Flexible scheduling based on department needs

PATIENT INFORMATION

• Patient Demographics: All ages

• Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 40,000 annual visits

• Admissions: 30% Admit/Observation rate

• Case Mix: General Emergency Medicine with trauma, cardiac, neuro, ortho, and OB/GYN support

FACILITY INFORMATION

• No. of Beds in Department: 45 ED beds and 5 triage rooms

• Trauma Level: Level III

• EMR System: Epic

• Office Equipment Available: Fully equipped emergency department

• Specialty Backup Available: Surgery, Neurology, Cardiology, OB/GYN, Orthopedics

• Support Staff Available: NP/PA coverage across all shifts

• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

• Credentialing Timeline: 90 days

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active Ohio license/IMLC eligibility to quickly obtain

• Board: BC/BE ABEM, ABFM, or ABIM

• DEA: Active DEA required

• Certifications: ATLS required for ABFM/ABIM; documentation of ATLS once in past for ABEM

• Experience: Minimum 2 years Emergency Medicine experience

• Other Qualifications: 3 peer references, CAQH attestation required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide emergency medical care across varied shift schedules

• Collaborate with NP/PA and specialty teams for comprehensive patient care

• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation

• Maintain compliance with hospital credentialing and documentation requirements

• Support department coverage needs as scheduled
