Coverage Needed
- ASAP - Ongoing
- Biweekly coverage
- Schedule: Monday 7 AM - Monday 7 AM every other week
- Onsite: 7 AM to 4/5 PM, then on-call until the following morning
- Saturday and Sunday: 24-hour call only
- May include day of clinic for follow-ups every other stretch
Clinical Details
- EMR: EPIC
- Support Staff: 1 APP (7on/7off), full-time Navigator, Stroke Coordinator (nurse)
- Specific Procedures: Thrombectomies for stroke cases, coiling for cerebral aneurysms
- Adults only; pediatrics are transferred out
- Additional Tools: Rapid AI, Siemens system biplane room
- Average Volume: 100-125 stroke alerts, 25 angiograms, 8-15 interventions, 5-10 embolizations per month
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible
- Neuro endovascular fellowship completed
- Consideration for Radiologist, Neurologist, or Neurosurgeon with neurovascular training
- Active South Carolina Medical License
- Active Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) preferred but willing to apply immediately upon acceptance
- DEA registered in South Carolina
- Comfortable working independently
