Maternal - Fetal Medicine Physician

A fellowship trained, Board Certified Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician is needed for locum tenens coverage in Virginia. Monday, Friday, 8a-4:15p, with nightly call on weekdays and 24hr weekend call coverage.

Practice Setting: Office & inpatient coverage Average Number of Scheduled Patients Per Day: 27 Number of Physicians in Practice: 1 per site (two sites), coverage only needed at one. NP rotates between sites. No Supervision required Support Staff: RN clinic educator, sonographer, genetic counselor, front office team Patient Population: 95% High Risk Pregnancy Nursery Level: III Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
Required Procedures/Skill Sets:
Amniocentesis, Chorionic Villus Sampling, cerclage (preferred), Pre-Eclampsia, Multiple Pregnancy, Growth Restriction, Chromosomal Abnormalities, Congenital abnormalities, Pre-term Labor, Hypertension, Thrombophilia, Genetic Disorders, Birth Defects, Vaginal Birth, Cesarean Birth, any fetal or maternal co-morbidities that make the pregnancy high risk
