PATIENT POPULATION & SCOPE
Patient Demographics: Adults with endocrine and metabolic disorders
Average Daily Volume / Census: Approximately 1822 patients per day
Admissions & Rounding: Not Included Outpatient practice
Consults & Follow-Ups: Yes
Case Mix/Clinical Focus Areas: Diabetes management, thyroid disorders, metabolic disease, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary disorders, and other endocrine conditions
FACILITY & TEAM DETAILS
EMR System: EPIC systemwide with Abridge AI medical scribe assistant
Specialty Backup: Full specialty support available through Tanner Health System
Support Staff: Established care team including Advanced Practice Provider and experienced nursing/support staff
Leadership & Reporting Structure: Employed position within Tanner Medical Group
Reason for Opening: Growth within the region and expansion of endocrine services for a service area exceeding 400,000 residents
CREDENTIALING & COMPLIANCE
Board Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
DEA & Certifications: Active DEA required; BLS certification preferred
Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 6090 days

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
State License Required: Eligible for or able to obtain Georgia medical license
Certifications: DEA required; BLS or equivalent clinical certification preferred
Experience: Open to both experienced physicians and new graduates
Additional Requirements: Strong interest in diabetes and endocrine disease management within a collaborative practice environment
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive endocrine care including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of endocrine disorders
Manage patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, metabolic disease, and related conditions
Coordinate care with primary care physicians and specialty providers across the Tanner Health System
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EPIC electronic medical record system
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient-centered care programs
