- Patient Demographics: Adults
- Patient Volume/Census: 49,500 annual visits ( 135/day)
- Admissions: 22%
- EMS Percentage: 30%
FACILITY INFORMATION
- No. of Beds in Department: 42 ED beds

- EMR System: Meditech (transitioning to Epic March 2025)
- Specialty Backup Available: Robust backup specialties on-site
- Scribe Coverage: 10 hrs/day
- Staffing Model:Physicians (MDDO): 49 hours MonWed; 42 hours SatSun ( 3.5 FTE, 42 shifts/month)
APPs (NP/PAs): 46 hours MonFri; 36 hours SatSun - Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active Louisiana medical license
- Board: BC in ABEM, AOBEM, ABFM (FM must show proof of ED work in past 2 years)
- Certifications: ATLS (FM only), ACLS, PALS
- Residency Training: EM or FM residency required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years ED experience if FM trained
