Shift Coverage:
- 8a-4p:
- 30-35 CT exams (No ER exams; IP & OP only)
- 15 MRI OP exam
- 30-35 General X-Ray exams
- 7a-4p:
- Option for CT reads only (IP/OP/ER); 50-55 exams
- 8a-1p: ED, IP, OP
- 1p-4p: ED & IP; No OP exams
Patient Volume: 50-70 exams; Includes 5 Oncology Studies
Patient Demographics: 95% adults, 5% peds
Support Staff: Clerical, Technologist and Administrative; Radiology Informatics on call & IT.
Physicians in Practice: 3 other Radiologists available if locum needs to consult; they are tele or onsite.
Duties/Required Skills:
- Critical results are called to the clinician, Radiology clerical staff can assist with this.
- Rotation includes ED cases which all default to STAT because they are ED cases; Must be able to do remote-reading.
Modalities: CT, General Radiology (X-Ray/Plain Films), MRI, US.
EMR: Philips
Trauma Level: III
Other Info:
- Will work solo.
- Will provide each physician with a workstation which will need to be shipped to their home.
- Remote reading to cover radiologist during vacation; Radiology Informatics Team will provide the training for PACS & reporting/dictation.
