JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active Mississippi Medical License
Board: Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics or American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics (within five years of post-graduate training)
DEA: Active Mississippi DEA Required
Certifications: Current PALS and NRP Certifications
Experience: Inpatient management of at least 24 patients within the past 24 months
Other Qualifications: Successful completion of an accredited Pediatric residency program
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive inpatient pediatric hospitalist services
Perform daily patient rounds and admissions as assigned
Manage acute pediatric and neonatal cases
Provide night call coverage as scheduled
Collaborate with primary care physicians and hospital staff to ensure continuity of care
