Management Analyst
Major Duties include (but are not limited to):
Recommends quality improvement in data collection and statistical information systems.
Prepares and maintains documents and reports for business readiness.
Prepares and presents briefings and information to management/supervisory officials.
Provides data processing support for surveys, program evaluations, and special studies.
Manages documents and historic records.
Investigates and researches studies on a wide array of benefits and health care-related issues.
Develops recommendations for corrective actions and methods to achieve efficient and effective operations.
Defines oversight audit requirements.
Prepare quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Selects statistical techniques, reports format, validity of data, and accuracy of results; Interprets, analyzes, and evaluates operations data and results. Applies knowledge of statistical techniques to solve problems.
Identifies scope of surveys, sample sizes, and appropriate sampling procedures.
Utilize various software packages, to include Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Minitab, SQL, or Visual Basic, to prepare special reports, forms, and correspondence.
Work Schedule: M-F 8:00AM - 4:30PM
Telework: This position may be authorized for telework. Telework eligibility will be discussed during the interview process.
Virtual: This position may be authorized for Virtual work.
Definition of Virtual work - Employee works outside of original hiring duty station at VA-owned or leased space.
