Warehouse Operator
The Warehouse Operator plays a key role in executing assigned warehouse tasks. This includes operating warehouse equipment, good communication, and effective teamwork in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Pick and pull customer orders in correct sequence using warehouse management systems and proper code date procedures.
Receive and unload incoming product from suppliers and production facilities; verify quantity, item numbers, and load IDs; create load ID numbers and scan pallet labels in the warehouse system.
Assign and organize inventory to appropriate storage locations while maintaining proper product rotation by date and code for quality assurance.
Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation of all product movement within the warehouse, ensuring proper record keeping and filing procedures.
Communicate proactively with Warehouse Supervisor/Lead/Senior regarding any issues that may impact load schedules, customer satisfaction, or operational productivity.
Report mechanical malfunctions and identify opportunities for operator involvement in resolving equipment concerns to improve productivity.
Min. Qualifications
GED or High School Diploma is preferred.
Direct or related experience of 1 year is highly preferred.
Must be able to operate forklifts, pallet jacks (manual/electric.)
