Children’s of Alabama has two Behavioral Health outpatient clinics; one location is the Ireland Center (on the campus of Children’s of Alabama Hospital) and the other is an offsite location at Patriot Park, 200 Wildwood Parkway Birmingham, AL 35209. The treatment team comprises Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Psychologists, and Licensed Therapists to provide multidisciplinary care. Providers work with patients and families to address behavioral and mental health issues including ADHD, mood disorders, and medication management. Crisis clinic appointments are available for patients assessed in the ED needing urgent outpatient services. Bridge clinic appointments are offered for patients who missed recent appointments or need urgent prescriber contact. Social service counseling provides brief solution‑focused support.
