Role Description
This is a full-time, remote role for a Project Estimator at SmartLam North America. The Project Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project specifications, preparing detailed cost estimates, and collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate and efficient project budgeting. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing construction plans, gathering material cost data, working closely with clients and vendors, and assisting in project planning and resource allocation.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Cost Management and Budgeting
Strong skills in Construction Estimating and Project Estimation
Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written
Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of mass timber or sustainable construction methods is a plus
Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as construction estimating software
Experience with project planning, resource allocation, or vendor collaboration is a bonus
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
