Position Overview
Under general supervision of the Assistant Director, Business Intelligence & Portfolio/Project Management Office (BIPMO) within the Business Enablement Team, this position provides project management and business analysis support to advance divisional initiatives and improve operational effectiveness. The role partners closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and execute projects, ensuring delivery within established scope, timelines, and quality standards. The position applies project management best practices and change management strategies to support successful implementation and adoption of new tools, systems, and processes. Through data and process analysis, the role translates business requirements into scalable, compatible solutions that enhance productivity, support decision‑making, and align with divisional and campus standards. In addition to project management and analytical responsibilities, the position may provide advanced training and technical or operational support for technology‑enabled initiatives, including system implementations, process improvements, automations, and business intelligence solutions. This role blends the strategic planning and execution strengths of a project manager with the analytical rigor of a business analyst to drive meaningful, measurable change across CPE.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training

Experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, and coordinating cross‑functional teams, timelines, risks, and deliverables.

Experience using project and work management systems and relational data tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Airtable, or equivalent) to support project tracking, workflow coordination, and reporting. Experience analyzing data and preparing reports, dashboards, or presentations to communicate findings and support project or operational decision‑making.

Experience applying analytical and problem‑solving skills to research issues, evaluate options, and develop and recommend technical, operational, or process solutions.

Experience eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements from multiple stakeholders to support solution design and implementation.

Experience supporting system implementations, process improvements, or automation initiatives involving cross‑functional teams.

Experience developing and delivering technical documentation, training materials, or end‑user support for systems or processes.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across an organization at all levels (local and systemwide), including building productive working relationships and facilitating collaboration and consensus. Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate diplomatically and clearly, actively listen to stakeholders, and explain complex technical or conceptual information to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.

Preferred Qualifications

Project Management Certification and/or Business Analysis Certification

Experience supporting configuration, automation, or advanced functionality within project or work management systems (e.g., Smartsheet, Airtable, or similar platforms).

Experience developing dashboards, reports, or visualizations.

Experience working with student information systems, CRM platforms, or program management systems (e.g., Destiny One or similar).

Experience working in higher education, continuing education, or a similarly complex organizational environment.

Experience participating in quality assurance activities, including test planning, execution, or validation of system functionality.

Experience supporting tracking or reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor project or operational performance.

Familiarity with the educational sector, specifically continuing and professional education.

Ability to exercise sound judgment and influence outcomes in situations involving ambiguity, competing priorities, and complex stakeholder dynamics.

Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and perspectives to inform recommendations, anticipate risks, and support effective decision‑making.
