Senior Biorepository Coordinator (SrBC)
Lead coordinator for the Center for Translational Transplant Medicine (CTTM) biorepository, responsible for consent and enrollment of pediatric and adult transplant and abdominal surgery patients, overseeing operations, maintaining a bank of blood and tissue, training staff, ensuring specimen integrity, and managing 24/7 scheduling.

Responsibilities

Lead operations of biorepository activities and supervise junior coordinators.

Coordinate specimen collection per protocol to maintain specimen integrity.

Schedule and rotate personnel on the 24/7 CTTM research call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Communicate with Principal Investigator(s), the research team, and multidisciplinary clinical teams.

Collaborate with clinical operations across MGUH/GUMC departments and external academic collaborators.

Maintain the blood and tissue bank and train new personnel.

Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or related field with at least 3 years of research coordinator experience or equivalent.

Strong organizational, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Detail‑oriented with excellent analytical skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft, Google, electronic medical records, and other computer applications.

Comfortable with unpredictability and change in a fast‑paced clinical setting.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with clinical operations, medical terminology, and specimen collections/processing.

Experience with OnCore (Clinical Trials Management System).

Pay Range
$21.16 – $35.29 per hour. Salary determined by qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications.

Work Mode Designation
On‑Campus. Work mode designation may be reviewed and updated as needed.
