About the Role
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Supplier Quality is seeking a Supplier Quality Representative to join the Americas‑Southwest team in Orange County, CA. This role focuses on overseeing supplier quality management systems (QMS), evaluating product quality improvement plans, and driving cross‑functional joint efforts.
Position Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and conduct onsite audits of Boeing procured material, parts, and assemblies.
Apply knowledge of materials and special processes to assess supplier capability and capacity to comply with Boeing specifications, engineering documents, and regulatory requirements.
Perform root cause and corrective action analysis and implement acceptable preventive actions.
Provide education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues, and company initiatives.
Conduct source inspections and delegate product acceptance responsibility to suppliers.
Assess capability and capacity of suppliers to perform current or potential future work.
Develop training materials and other resources to support improvements in supplier performance and productivity.
Identify risks and hold suppliers accountable for risk mitigation.
Create presentations and present to senior management at suppliers and Boeing.
Support external conformities.
Use a personal vehicle when required for company business, reimbursed at mileage rate per company policy.
Exhibit an extremely high level of emotional intelligence.
Protect the Boeing brand in word and deed.
Minimum Education Required
High School/GED
Additional Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS).
3+ years’ experience conducting/leading QMS audits.
3+ years’ experience in quality investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions in production environments.
Capable of traveling up to 25% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with improvement methodologies such as Lean, Theory of Constraints, or Six Sigma.
5+ years in APQP, PPAP, or AS9145 deployment.
Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
5+ years of analytical, collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
3+ years of project leadership with cross‑functional teams.
Working knowledge of FMEA, control plans, SPC, MSA.
Working knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, and AS9145.
Leading or co‑leading control builds or process validation builds.
Experience with mixed technologies—machining, fabrication, assembly, electronics assembly.
Casting/forging experience is a plus.

This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person” is required.
