Route Service Manager
UniFirst is seeking a Route Service Manager to join our team! The Route Service Manager will recruit and lead a team of Route Service Supervisors and Route Service Representatives who deliver to multiple customers per day—from small family‑owned businesses to major corporate locations. The ideal candidate will drive customer satisfaction, account growth, and profitability for their location.
What You’ll Be Doing
Oversee recruiting, training, and development of Route Service Representatives and Supervisors.
Build strong relationships with customers and elevate the team’s level of achievement in customer satisfaction.
Collaborate closely with the location management team to provide the best customer service and product programs.
Negotiate customer contract renewals.
Qualifications
Business savvy and enjoys finding innovative ways to increase profit and grow customer satisfaction.
Results‑driven relationship manager who isn’t afraid to roll up sleeves and help the team and the customer.
Capable of working with Route Service Representatives and Supervisors to support their development.
Personal vehicle drivers must meet minimum auto insurance requirements per company standards.
High School Diploma or GED (bachelor’s degree preferred).
Prior customer service experience.
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to handle many customer service situations.
Ability to negotiate, train, coach, and lead a team.
Strong computer proficiency (MS Office).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
21 years of age.
Valid non‑commercial driver’s license in the state of residence.
Must meet pre‑employment DOT physical requirements.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
