Overview
You will finish customer-supplied material after laser processing by removing burrs, slag, and edge imperfections to meet drawing requirements. This role ensures parts are clean, compliant, and ready for final inspection and return to the customer, with occasional exposure to flow testing operations.
Responsibilities
Deburr laser‑cut parts; remove slag, sharp edges, and heat‑affected material
Blend edges while maintaining geometry and tolerances
Use hand tools, abrasives, and pneumatic equipment
Read prints and follow routers/work instructions
Perform visual checks and basic measurement (calipers, gauges)
Identify cut quality issues and flag upstream
Handle thin or delicate parts without distortion
Support downstream operations, including basic machining tasks as needed
Qualifications
1–3 years deburring experience (laser or machining environment preferred)
Strong attention to detail and manual control
Familiar with grinders, files, and abrasive tools
Preferred – Not required Exposure to CNC machining or interest in developing machining skills
Experience with Inconel, stainless, or titanium
Aerospace/AS9100 environment
