About Logos Space Engineering
The Product and Data Link Security team at Logos Space Engineering ensures the success of our network by providing unique levels of security and authentication in space communications. This position is a critical driver of the architecture, overseeing development efforts specific to the security architecture, while working with other teams such as ground segment and spacecraft systems.

The Role
The Supply Chain Security Lead will own the supply chain security strategy across all hardware and manufacturing processes. They will ensure that no component or manufacturing step can compromise system trust. This role is vital for defining and enforcing the security guardrails for what Logos procures and manufactures.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the comprehensive supply chain security strategy, architecture, and roadmap for all hardware and manufacturing processes

Define vendor qualification criteria and risk scoring for third‑party suppliers and COTS components

Lead the design and implementation of secure provisioning workflows, including key injection, and validation mechanisms for Commercial Off‑The‑Shelf (COTS) components

Develop policies, practices, and assurance for the security of the Logos supply chain to ensure no vulnerabilities are introduced

Build the supply chain security team by recruiting talent and providing technical guidance and mentorship to security team members, contributing to overall growth of the security organization

Manage the chain of custody and logistics security with an audit trail

Implement anti‑counterfeit and tampering detection measures (a DoD priority)

Ensure alignment with compliance frameworks such as NIST SP 800‑161 (Supply Chain Risk Mgmt.)

Oversee the security of test equipment and perform firmware authenticity validation on the vendor side

Contribute to the overall growth of the security organization through technical guidance and mentorship

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Minimum of 7‑10 years of experience in security engineering, with demonstrable experience in designing and implementing supply chain and hardware security solutions. Strong knowledge of security principles, best practices, and frameworks. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast‑moving environment.

Must‑Have Skills

Hardware security & supply chain risk

Secure provisioning / key injection

Vendor security evaluation (COTS)

Manufacturing flows & chain‑of‑custody

Knowledge of HSM, PKI, and provisioning pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with or understanding the unique security challenges and considerations of space‑based communication systems

Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent

Experience with automation for security tasks

Ability and willingness to attain a Top Secret Clearance

Compensation
Compensation Range: $190K - $270K
