Job Summary
The Program Manager is responsible for implementing all aspects of college programming for high school graduates in Alameda County juvenile detention facilities. Based out of the juvenile justice facilities in San Leandro, the Program Manager will help students develop their college and career goals and then help them reach those goals. The Program Manager will assist students with in-person and asynchronous college courses, manage and provide feedback to tutors and volunteers, and provide academic intervention. This job reports to the assigned administrator.

Requirements / Qualifications
Education & Experience:
CA Multiple Subject or Single Subject Teaching Credential or CTE credential (required)
Bachelor’s Degree (required)
Five (5) years of teaching experience or similar experience (required)
Five (5) years of experience working with adolescents in an alternative school setting or serving vulnerable populations (preferred)
Experience working with students with significant learning gaps, special education needs, and/or justice involvement (preferred)
Equivalent combination of education and experience
