Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking an Automation Test Engineer to support a large-scale Facets migration project within the healthcare payer environment. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing strategies to ensure system quality, accuracy, and performance throughout the migration and implementation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop automated test plans aligned to project requirements and timelines

Create and maintain test cases and test scripts based on requirements traceability matrices and use cases

Execute automated and manual tests to validate system functionality and performance

Provide guidance and training to testers and developers on automated testing tools and best practices

Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools

Prioritize defects and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution

Validate fixes and perform regression testing as updates are released

Generate test reports and communicate results to development teams and project stakeholders

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integration and user acceptance testing (SIT/UAT)

Support quality assurance efforts related to the Facets migration process

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
Experience in automation testing and quality assurance

Strong understanding of test planning, test case creation, and defect management

Experience with automated testing tools (such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar)

Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and support team members
