Trilogy Federal is looking for an

EDI Production Issue Coordinator

with experience in EDI operations, healthcare technology troubleshooting. This role involves providing support for managing issues impacting VA’s Payer EDI operations. The candidate shall work with healthcare X12 EDI transactions and data mapping to research and resolve production issues.

Please note, this position is contingent upon award (May/June 2026).

Primary Responsibilities

Monitor, document receipt and assignment of notifications of Payer EDI-specific production issues

Summarize each issue with key details (description, impacted transaction type, severity, and affected stakeholders) and record it in the designated issue tracking system

Create and submit technical support tickets in VA-approved platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) for OIT resolution; ensure all required artifacts and details are attached for expedited troubleshooting

Conduct data analysis, research root causes of production issues, run SQL queries, search cloud-based (e.g., AWS) and VA managed systems for appropriate transactions and medical document attachments, and troubleshoot reporting discrepancies

Update issue and ticket tracker, as needed, with findings

Conduct community provider research requests in collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders and provide timely updates

Track progress of open tickets, update tickets as needed and follow up with OIT and/or applicable vendor product teams and business owners to ensure timely remediation

Document action items and notes

Attend requirements elaboration sessions and UAT handoff meetings with OIT resources.

Review and verify X12 transaction mappings (e.g., JSON to X12 to FHIR, X12 to Payer EDI Transaction Application Suite database, companion guide mapping)

Update and create relevant production Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), as needed

Serve as liaison between VA EDI leadership, OIT technical teams, and business stakeholders to elevate blockers and confirm resolution steps

Minimum Requirements

Bachelors Degree

Total of 8+ years of professional expereince

Minimum of 4 years of experience in EDI operations, healthcare technology troubleshooting, or Agile practices

Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.

The ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in EDI standards or Agile practices

Knowledge of VA or similar healthcare payer systems
